Sports Bar around Hadlock Field?

Hi All,

A group of us will be going to a Sea Dog game and I%26#39;m looking for a sports bar in the area we can go to afterwards where we can catch some westcoast games (my friends are obsessed baseball fans).

Any suggestions?

Can%26#39;t think of one right there. How %26#39;bout a mile or so away? Rivalries is a good one- Cotton Street on west edge of Old Port. Near intersection of Pleasant %26amp; Fore.

Sports Bar around Hadlock Field?

Try Bleachers on Forest Avenue. It is across the street from the University Library. Actually not too bad a walk from Hadlock.

Bleacher%26#39;s is no longer on Forest Ave. They are on Preble Street. It%26#39;s a fun place with free peanuts.

Rivalrie%26#39;s on Cotton Street is a pretty big place, 2 floors, good food as well.

Foreplay on Fore Street may or may not suit you. On weekend nights, and sometimes even during the week, it morphs from fine local sports bar to more of a club type atmosphere around 9-10pm.

I believe the Stadium has reopened on Congress Street.

All of these places are within a mile or two of Hadlock Field. Bleachers on Preble Street would probably be closest.

I%26#39;ve always thought the brick building that sits between the Hadlock field parking lot and train tressle would make a great sports bar/bre pub. Alas, nobody with the money to do it seems to agree with me.
