I%26#39;ve booked here for week in August based on location on ocean, affordability and info on their website. Wondered if anyone knows if good choice?

have no fear , you made a great choice ! My wife and I have been frequent visitors since 1999 . We were there 2 weeks ago and have booked for 5 days mid-Sept .

Richard and Patte , the owners , are

great hosts and they run a clean well organized operation in a seafront cottage built arond 1890 .

I stayed there the day after Christmas in 2003, so take my opinion with a grain of salt since things may have changed since then. My husband and I did enjoy our stay. The inn at that time was not fancy, but was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the ocean views, and the quiet location.

Thanks to both of you for this - have erased doubts and really looking forward now to stay there. Any affordable oceanview eating recommendations also welcomed. Have the names of a couple of lobster shacks in area from another post.

Had a great week%26#39;s stay here aided by wonderful weather. Nautilus was clean, affordable, private, quiet and no frills choice. Pickup continental breakfast on porch fit the bill and we had fridge in room so stocked some basics for lunch and went out for dinner. Really enjoyed the quiet small town feel of Ocean Park. Noticed Billow House across way that also looked nice. Wondered if anyone had stayed there and would recommend? and how it compares with Nautilus?

Could you let me know your experience in the Nautilus by the Sea? We are booked there in a few weeks.
