HELP! Boss & wife in town; want to go to a lobster pound -

My boss and I are in Boston for a meeting; his wife arrives this evening; and they want to go to Maine tomorrow. I suggested Kennebunkport - now I am driving them AND they want to go to a lobster pound. Nunans is not open for lunch - so I need another one.....does not have to be in Kennebunkport proper. Anywhere in the area will do. They have never been to Maine; so I would like for them to get the lobster shack experience - but I also want to still have a job at the end of the day. (Just kidding) but all suggestions are welcome!) thanks!

I agree with Michele%26#39;s recommendations, particulary one in Cape Porpoise (part of Kennebunkport) and Barnacle Billys in Perkins Cove (part of Ogunquit). Would not suggest going to Two Lights suggested by Arcadiafan. It%26#39;s a great place for lobster, but much further north, about 50 minutes north of Kennebunkport, and not anywhere near a turnpike exit or major highway.

Oops, just noticed I posted after the 22nd, when you were coming up here to Maine. Where did you finally go for lobster lunch??

I had a written an ';after the fact'; post - but it isn%26#39;t here; so must have saved it incorrectly.....

we ended up at Haraassekeet Lunch and Lobster for lunch - got the lobster roll and they loved it. They kept looking for the ';dining room'; - too funny. drove down thru Kennebunkport; did ocean drive, etc and then had dinner at Barnacle Billy%26#39;s in Ogunquit. All in all a great day, they had a wonderful time and I still have a job!
