Hello all,

We were thinking of a fery ride over to peaks island. Should we grab a picnic lunch somewhere or go out to lunch? If picnic, what place and where to go? if going out, which restaurant?

I haven%26#39;t been out to the island in a few years but I think there are only three restaurant choices - the Cockeyed Gull, the Peaks Island House and the Inn on Peaks Island. Don%26#39;t know anything about the first one. Have enjoyed lunch a few times on the deck at the Peaks Island House. The Inn has a Shipyard Brewing pub that I understand serves good food - and great beer. I would forget the picnic, rent bikes and enjoy the island, then grab a bite at one of those establishments. It%26#39;s an easy ride around the island.

Don%26#39;t forget Jone%26#39;s Landing, right at the ferry dock. They have a reggae band every Sunday afternoon.
