Acadia Village Resort, Ellsworth, Maine

We are going to be staying with our 3 kids, 10, 9 and 3 at this time share resort. Has anyone stayed here before? Need to know how long a drive it is to the Acadia Park. Any info. for a great trip would be great. We%26#39;ll be there a week.

Generally Ellsworth is about maybe 20+ miles from the BarHarbor village. Time is dependant on traffic. But as a typical mainer, i judge distance in time= 20miles=20minutes.

I am pretty sure this is the one that is located in Ellsworth pretty much right at the intersection of RT1 %26amp; 3 across from the McDonalds (out behind the MDOT garage and pizza place there).

If that is the case it would be exactly 19miles to the center of Bar Harbor from there. Depending on your time of visit it could be anywhere from 20 minutes to maybe 35 minutes if the traffic on RT3 is bad. I have never stayed there. I drive through that area several times a month but since it sits back off the road I dont really notice it but am pretty sure I have seen the sign for it in the location I have mentioned.

I realize that this response is to old to help the original poster, but it might help someone else. I am staying in at the Acadia Village Resort right now, I am in Ellsworth on business and have found this place to be great for my needs. Its in Ellsworth about 20 miles from Bar Harbor, I am paying $159 per night, when I priced out the Holiday Inn I found this place is just $5 more a night, and its so much more than a motel room. I am going to write a review now.
